We have celebrated an incredible six years of our Virtual 5k, and we want to extend our gratitude to every participant. Throughout these six events, the phrase “Run, Walk, Hike, or Bike” caused some confusion regarding acceptable activities. While some participants prefer swimming or kayaking, others enjoy surfing or yoga. There are countless ways to maintain fitness and health. Therefore, we have rebranded our event as “The DCTA Virtual Fitness Fundraiser.”
We hope you will join us this year for our inaugural “Virtual Fitness Fundraiser”. We look forward to your participation.
How Does This Fundraiser Work?
The DCTA Virtual Fitness Fundraiser is an “at-your-leisure” fitness fundraising event. You choose the date, time, and type of exercise—any activity, whether it’s walking, running, swimming, yoga, or surfing. Anything that promotes your health qualifies as fitness, and the funds raised will support students and facilities in Mangochi, Malawi.
This year, the fee is $50 per participant, and the funds raised will support health and fitness supplies and activities for school-aged students.

Between April 1st and May 31st, – perform any exercise or fitness routine, and we’ll count that towards your participation goal.
